The QPROX is a secure contactless smart card reader with a modular design that’s ready for any point-of-sale environment. The QPROX has up to 8MB Flash and 2MB SRAM memory and a backlit screen for maximum visibility in low lighting. It can seamlessly support multiple applications including traditional point-of-sale terminals, ECRs, and PCs, through an array of USB, RS232 and RS485 interfaces.
An optional display stand enables both horizontal and upright countertop positioning of the high-quality, low-profile QPROX.
QPROX supports Mifare® cards and ISO 14443 Type A and B. The reader is certified with Visa payWave, MasterCard PayPass, ExpressPay and J/Speedy, and support ISO
14443 A & B, and NFC contactless schemes.
